The role of rubber bridge bearing in the bridge:

The main function is to reliably transfer the upper reaction force to the abutment, and at the same time to complete the horizontal displacement of the beam structure due to braking force, temperature, concrete shrinkage and creep, and load, and the rotation of the beam end. It is a kind of bridge bearing product made of multi-layered natural rubber and thin steel plate inlaid, bonded and vulcanized. This type of rubber bridge bearing has sufficient vertical stiffness to withstand vertical loads, and can reliably transfer the pressure of the upper structure to the abutment; it has good elasticity to adapt to the rotation of the beam end; there is a greater shear deformation to It satisfies the horizontal displacement of the upper structure; it has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient installation, saving of steel, low price, simple maintenance, and easy replacement.

A PTFE plate with a thickness of 1.5mm to 3mm is adhered to the surface of the plate support and can be made into a PTFE slide rubber bearing. In addition to its vertical rigidity and elastic deformation, it can withstand vertical loads and adapt to Because of the low friction coefficient of the PTFE plate, and the beam end can slide freely on the surface of the PTFE plate. The horizontal displacement is not limited. It is especially suitable for bridges with medium and small loads and large displacements.
