On the morning of May 11th, Changhong International successfully completed the trial voyage of the second 3100 container ship CHB2020 built for Log In. At present, the project team of the ship is sorting out the opinions of the shipowner, ship inspection and trial voyage, as well as the remaining projects, and is working hard to ensure the goal of delivering the ship by the end of the month.
Before the sea trial, the project team formulated a thorough and orderly sea trial plan, fully coordinated the shipowner's resources, efficiently carried out mooring test projects, and continuously improved the success rate of inspection.
During the trial voyage, the project team worked together, arranged the inspection plan reasonably, strengthened the organization of the inspection project, actively communicated with the shipowner and ship inspector, adopted a 24-hour shift system to efficiently promote the trial voyage project, and adjusted the trial voyage plan in a timely manner according to the actual progress of the project, ultimately ensuring the smooth completion of the trial voyage, receiving unanimous praise from the shipowner and ship inspector.
There are a total of 2 ships of this type, which are a safe and environmentally friendly green ship with a length of 193.5 meters, a width of 35.2 meters, and a depth of 17.9 meters. The EEDI index meets the requirements of Stage 3, and according to regulations, it meets the Tier III requirements for nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. The sulfur oxide (Sox) emissions meet the requirements of Annex VI and are classified as DNV classification society. The number of heavy containers, deadweight tons, and fuel consumption of ships are all better than those of the same type, which correspondingly improves the economy and competitiveness of the ship type. Previously, the first ship of this series, "LOG-IN EVOLUTION" (CHB2019), was delivered on schedule on January 5th of this year.
