On March 19/20, the 93000 cubic meter VLGC series bow ship (H2742 ship) and 98000 cubic meter VLEC series bow ship (H2781 ship) built by China Shipbuilding Group's Jiangnan Shipbuilding for Pearl Petrochemical Company and Wanhua Chemical Company respectively conducted sea trials. The construction team worked hard and successfully completed the full ship navigation verification project and offshore main engine lifting cylinder inspection, ensuring the first sea voyage of the two ships with a determined attitude.
During the trial voyage, the two ships met at sea. Faced with successive sea trials, the difficulty in personnel and resource allocation has increased. Shuangshuang has returned triumphantly on schedule, reflecting the further improvement of Jiangnan Shipbuilding's ability to build parallel and deliver intensively in the construction process of ultra large liquefied gas ships. In this process, it is also inseparable from the efforts of the two ship construction teams. In order to actively solidify the trial status and delivery cycle, they established improvement directions around indicators and weak links, refined and implemented management and technical improvements, and established multiple special task teams to continuously optimize and solidify project management methods, promote collaboration among departments, and ensure the smooth completion of ship trial tasks on schedule.
