Recently, Ningbo Zhenhe Shipbuilding Company successfully delivered the first 13000DWT deep-sea fishery refrigerated transport ship of the "Ningfeng Cold" series, "Ningfeng Cold 1", built for Zhejiang Ningtai International Shipping Co., Ltd.
The "Ningfeng Cold" series transport fleet is the first domestically designed and built large-scale refrigerated transport vessel of Chinese nationality, designed by Zhoushan Wanda Shipbuilding Design Institute and classified by China Classification Society (CCS). Among them, "Ningfeng Cold 1" has a total length of 157.36 meters, a depth of 13.70 meters, a designed speed of 18.90 knots, a tonnage of 13000 DWT, a main engine power/speed of 9480 kW * 127 r/min, 4 compartments, 16 cargo compartments, and a cooling temperature of -35 ℃ or below. It is expected to load about 12000 tons of frozen water products at full load.
This ship is mainly used for transporting refrigerated goods between fishing grounds, ports, and open waters in Antarctica. It is a green and environmentally friendly ship with excellent linearity, good speed, low fuel consumption per ton of cargo, and meets the third stage emission requirements of EEDI. It has high refrigeration efficiency and good insulation effect.
