This type of ship has a total length of 172 meters, a width of 28.40 meters, a depth of 16.00 meters, a designed draft of 8.50 meters, and is classified by DNV classification society. It has unrestricted global navigation and is suitable for loading dry cargo containers, cold containers, and specific dangerous goods containers. Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is the world's largest container shipping company in terms of transportation capacity. Currently, Fujian Shipbuilding Administration holds orders for 12 container ships from the company, including 2 orders for 3700TEU container ships and 10 orders for 1800TEU container ships.
