On the morning of April 11th, the 63500 ton ultra flexible bulk carrier "FEI YUN JIANG" built by New Ocean Shipbuilding for Zhejiang Shipping Group was officially handed over. This is the second operational leasing new shipbuilding vessel jointly operated by the headquarters of Zhejiang Shipping Group and AVIC Leasing, following the delivery of the "FU CHUN JIANG" vessel in January this year.
Sun Jianbao, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Shipping Group, led personnel from relevant departments to attend the naming and handover ceremony as scheduled, witnessed by multiple parties including AVIC Leasing, Sumida Shipbuilding, BES Group, French Classification Society, and the Marshall Islands Registry.
The "FEI YUN JIANG" vessel was built by New Ocean Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Sumida Shipbuilding. This ship adopts the new generation of green, energy-saving and environmentally friendly CROWN63 PLUS ship model designed and developed by Sumida Shipbuilding, incorporating advanced green design concepts. The SCR system is used for the exhaust of the main engine and generator to meet the requirements of Tier III nitrogen oxide emissions; Promote the addition of new energy-saving devices (FANCUP, HVRF, and Rudder BULB) in the system to improve energy efficiency; At the same time, a new line design is adopted, and the cargo hold capacity and load capacity are significantly improved through layout optimization, with the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) meeting the requirements of the third stage. This round is at the forefront of the industry in terms of economic and energy-saving, cargo suitability, safety, and environmental protection.
The successful delivery of the "FEI YUN JIANG" ship is a reflection of Zhejiang Shipping Group's implementation of the "light and heavy" development strategy, and another vivid practice of market-oriented cooperation between the company and state-owned leasing companies. In the future, both sides will continue to cooperate sincerely, fully leverage their respective advantages, and jointly contribute to building a green, low-carbon, and sustainable Zhejiang Maritime Fleet.
After the ceremony, the guests boarded the ship to visit, accompanied by the captain and the chief engineer. The ship will be officially put into fleet operation after delivery, in order to implement the decision-making and deployment of the "Six Focuses and Six Breakthroughs" at the annual work conference of Zhejiang Transportation Group, solidly carry out the annual key work tasks of Zhejiang Transportation Group, and contribute to the company's "FEI YUN JIANG" strength in winning the "Half Year Red" high score answer sheet.
