Ten Kinds of Rubber Fenders Commonly Used in Docks

First, GD type rubber

1, the bottom width has  the smaller size, especially for frame-type docks;
2, high energy absorption, large reaction force;
3, high strength of installation , long service life.

Second, Super drum SC

1, Improve the energy absorption/ reaction value
Compared with ordinary drum type rubber fender, SC Super drum type rubber fender's E/RH value is increased by approximately 15%. Common drum type rubber fender E/RH value is generally 0.375~0.385, while SC super drum type rubber fender's  E / RH value is generally 0.43 ~ 0.44.
2, the structure is more reasonable
Compared with the ordinary rubber fenders, SC Super drum type rubber fender, has a   more reasonable structure. The fender body and the flange connection use an excessive sleek, reducing the phenomenon of stress concentration during the compression deformation of the fender root. The fender stress is more reasonable, and the amount of compression on the fender is increased, from 47.5% for normal type to 52.5%.
3, SC super drum rubber fender and ordinary rubber fender have the same mounting bolt hole pitch and bolt holes.
It has the characteristics of small effect of leaning berthing.

Third, Conical gangway ZC

TD-AA conical rubber fender is the third generation product of drum rubber fenders. It adopts a new structure design of cone rubber body and front steel frame, so that the designed compress deformation increases from 52.5% to 70% on condition that the fender’s reaction force does not increase. It has become one of the best rubber fenders on the market today. Its appearance will enable the terminal structure design to be lightweight and reduce the cost of terminal construction. It is an ideal alternative of the super drum rubber fenders.
Cone rubber fenders have been in existence for ten years since they were first introduced. The design of tapered rubber fenders has become a new trend in terminal design today and represents a new level of pier fender design.
1, compared with the same specifications of the super rubber fender, its absorbing energy nearly doubled.
2. Under the condition that the reaction force and energy absorption of the product are similar, the small size TD-AA cone rubber fender can be used instead of the larger TD-A super drum rubber fender. The TD-AA800H cone fender can be used instead of the TD-A1000H fenders and reduce the cost of terminal construction.

Fourth, D type rubber fender

1, Counter force, suitable energy absorption
2, Bottom width is moderate, especially applies to boxed dock
3, Light weight, easy installation and maintenance.

Fifth, Cylindrical (Y) Fender

1, Low reaction force, small surface pressure, reasonable energy absorption
2. It has strong adaptability to roll and pitch when the vessel berths
3, A wide range of applications, can also be used as a ship anti-collision device
4, Easy installation and maintenance

Sixth, π type rubber fender

1. The area of the top of the fender is large and the surface pressure of contacting is small;
2, High energy absorption, low reaction force, applicable to piers above 10,000 tons;
3, The span between the two support arms can be adjusted, the compression deformation can reach 52.5%;
4. The outer surface of the anti-corrosion plate is an ultra-high polymer polyethylene plate or nylon, and its friction coefficient is small;
5, Can be installed vertically or horizontally, do not need to install supporting anchor chain.

2, Strong installation, easy removal
3, Suitable for medium-sized docks

Ninth, Rotating fender

The rotating rubber fender absorbs the impact energy of the ship by using the rotation of the roller and compression deformation (rubber) . When the ship berths or moves, the rotating fender can adapt to the movement of the hull to generate rotation, thus ensuring the safety of the wharf and the ship. The rotating fenders are suitable for use in shipyards, docks, ro-ro docks, quayside berths, and wherever it is required to limit the direction of motion and berthing speed of the ship.

Features:
1. The fenders (wheels) rotate on three axes, which can limit and reduce the operating speed of the ship, which is conducive to the safe berthing of ships;
2, Compression deformation can be up to 40%, more than double the traditional rotating fender energy absorption;
3. Because the rotating fender can rotate in accordance with the movement of the hull, the hull and the fender do not generate sliding friction, so it is not easy to damage the hull paint.

Tenth, Rubber gangway
