Talking about the Regular Maintenance and Service of Marine Fender

As a large-scale ship fender device, since it is equipped with a crash plate that makes the outer plate of the vessel less compressive, it has a complicated structure compared to the conventional universal fender. And when the structure is damaged, it does not provide protection for the safe docking of ship. In order to make it use safely for long-term , the fender system must be checked regularly.

After the fenders are installed, the initial three vessels should be inspected each time when they are docked. After that, they are checked regularly once a month. The inspection range of marine fender:
1. Check if the mounting bolts of the fender body and the bolts fixing the baffle plate are loose. If there is any looseness, fix the fastening bolts and the backing plate by spot welding after tightening.
2. Check the fender body for any abnormalities such as cracks, cuts, etc.
3. Check if there is any dents, cracks, or corrosion on the anti-shock plate. If the anti-shock plate has dents, cracks, or corrosion, to prevent corrosion of the anti-shock plate, perform anti-corrosion treatment once a year as far as possible.
4. Check whether the anti-dash plate leans forward. The accumulation of the material on the inside of the anti-dash plate tends to cause rake. Therefore, remove the deposit on the inside of the anti-dash plate as much as possible.
5. Check whether there is any scratch, crushed, etc. on the surface of the anti-flush panel. The bad panel should be replaced in time.
6. Check the installation of the fenders to see if there is any crack in the concrete. If so, the cracks should be dealt with by the civil engineering department.
7. Inspect the rubber elastic parts of the pylon and anti-shock plate for any abnormalities. If any abnormalities are found, they should be promptly disposed of and replaced.
